Where Our Story Begins

Every makcik in Malaysia knows the magic of the kitchen, with a pinch of love, a dash of patience, and the smell of something delicious wafting through the air. Mak’Cik™ started just like that, in 1982, in a tiny kitchen full of big heart and even bigger dreams.

Our mission? To make food that hugs you from the inside, with flavours that remind you of home… and maybe make you sneak a second helping when no one’s looking.

Good food doesn’t have to be complicated; it just has to be honest. At Mak’Cik™, every pastry, roll, and bake is halal-certified, MSG-free, transfat-free, and made with a lot of love (and maybe a little dancing while mixing the batter).
